Haulover Beach - Miami Hotels .com

Often believed to be entirely a nude beach, Haulover Beach is actually a very family friendly beach that takes up an entire barrier island located between Bal Harbour and Sunny Isles Beach. Only the north side of the one-and-a-half mile strip of sand is "clothing optional." And while it is in fact the only place in Florida where you legally can be nude, Haulover offers visitors much more than just bare bodies.

If you are an avid surfer, you know Florida, particularly Miami, isn't know for its surf. However, most locals know Haulover gets some of the best waves in South Florida. The beach also has a marina and well kept sand dunes.
