Crandon Park Beach

This two-mile, lagoon-style beach right at the northern end of Key Biscayne is so popular with locals, the weekend traffic can sometimes rival South Beach's. The 4,000 parking spaces are quickly snatched up before noon on weekends. The land was donated to the county in 1947 and is said to be on of the most beautiful beaches in the United States.

Kayaks and other water equipment can be rented here. And because of the area's spectacular wildlife and plant species, guided nature walks are given.
