Bicentennial Park
Bicentennial Park is located on the waterfront in Downtown Miami, just north of Bayside Marketplace and the American Airlines Arena. Once the former site of the Port of Miami, the park is a large grassy area generally used as a venue for festivals, events, and outdoor concerts, such as the world famous Ultra Music Festival. Depending on the time of year, visitors may find Cirque du Soleil's tent, a House of Terror Amusement park, a Presidential rally, or just a view of the ocean.
Plans are in the works to rechristen the 30-acre park as Museum Park after moving the Miami Art Museum and Miami Museum of Science to this location, making it Miami's new cultural center.
Visitors to downtown Miami have several hotel options available, among these, the Hyatt Regency Miami and the Marriott Miami Biscayne Bay, providing comfortable guestrooms with beautiful city and bay views. Miami's downtown hotels are conveniently located close to attractions. Additionally, most visitors find that the main downtown attractions are also within walking distance of each other.
The hotels near Port of Miami are good choices for visitors planning to find accommodations within walking distance of Bicentennial Park, Bayside Marketplace, and Bayfront Park.
