The hotel is old and musty. The staff were either rude or ignored you while chatting with each other. There are no amenities in the hotel including hot water for a shower at times.

You get what you pay for, that's for sure! If you need a cheap place for one night like us, then the hotel served it's purpose. The room was spacious and quiet. There were a few peculiar stains on the carpet, but we learned to ignore them. The continental breakfast was a joke. It consisted of coffee and a women behind the bar who's english was limited to, "Croissant?". There wasn't even butter!

Everything was well. Close to stores and downtown shopping. But continental breakfast was only a small muffin or a small croissant with nothing to spread on it.

Hotel was nice for the one night we needed. Restaurant next door left something to be desired. Prices on menu were higher than printed and the drinks were $12 each. Of course, we were not told that until the bill came. Hotel is good, but don't go next door.

Reception Staff was friendly, but unprofessional.
Room did not have one single hanger in the closet.
Telephone was without keypad (instructions)and had seen better days.
Restaurant should not be advertised since it did not exist. Doors had heavy chains on them. Breakfast was absolute minimal and standing room only. Coffee and a sad muffin. Thank God for the Hyatt next door.
The Lobby is not bad and the only redeeming feature is the location. Very close to Miami Port. At 129.00 plus taxes it was not a great value.

The shuttle to the cruise ship was great.
The lady at the front desk was very helpful.
She gave us good directions to nearby restaurants and shopping.

The time that my husband and I spent at this hotel was absolutely wonderful. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They took really good care of our needs and made sure we were satisfied.

I have stayed at the River Park Hotel and Suites on many occasions. Close to night time activities and the cruise port. I would recommend for a short stay.
